What counts as a transaction?

Any line item that hits a bank, credit card, or payment processor feed: a charge, a deposit, a transfer.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Onboarding, including catch-up cleanup if needed, is included in your monthly fee.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.
